Kingfisher, the Good Times partner of Aircel Chennai Open 2010, gave a scintillating start to the Championship. The "Kingfisher Fashion Night" was a well organized evening midst glamour and glitterati, where the two worlds met - Tennis and Fashion. Star Designers Monoviraj Khosla and Chennai's Rehane gave a fitting opening and got good rounds of applause from the fervent spectators. The Tennis Stars looking rapt alongside top models sashayed down the ramp proudly displaying their dazzling designer outfits.
Marin Cilic, Janko Tipsarevic, Rohan Bopanna, Somdev, Yuki, Soderling formed the Team of Tennis stars, while Jackie Shetty, Pashmeena Barker, Candice Pinto, Diandra Soares catapult the audience to heights with their chic feminism. Host and Tennis Ace Vijay Amritraj had the audience in splits with his drollness.
The Gala event boosted the energy levels of one and all, giving the much needed energy for a weeklong Tennis!
