MIM rebelled against the Congress party and the speaker in the assembly. The MIM party irked with the issue threatened to snap ties with the ruling party during the GHMC elections. YSR was worried about it as that could dampen their chances of victory in the coming GHMC elections. He took the initiative to set things right with MIM and finally was able to pacify them.
Earlier MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi made a statement that he would take initiative in forming a third front with the support of PRP, Lok Satta and others.
Acting quick the CM sent a delegation comprising of Chief Whip Bhatti Vikramarka and Deputy Speaker, Nadendla Manohar to meet Owaisi in the assembly for patching up things before the feud turned foul. Now YSR is pretty confident that MIM will be with the Congress in the coming GHMC elections.
