2011-08-8: In the view of prevailing political turmoil in the state, The BJP had demanded to conduct a referendum in Telangana whether people there want separate statehood or not.

On the other side, There were demands that referendum should be conducted in the entire state. There were allegations from Telangana leaders that Telangana statehood is also acceptable to the people of Seema Andhra. A referendum conducted in the entire state should be favour of United Andhra if the Seema Andhra people oppose bifurcation as they form 6 Crores of total 10 Crore population.

But will all the parties accept for referendum in the entire state is the million dollar question?
