Movies are considered to be the hub of creativity. The objective of the movie makers is to present the audience with their novel ideas and create a frame by frame motion of their thoughts on the celluloid. But, what if the main objective is lost and the purpose becomes only to make business by giving the best, which was already proved somewhere else. Unfortunately, this copying is happening in the name of inspiration.

Inspiration, the most common word being used by all the copy masters of the movie world. Lifting from either old hit movies or any foreign movies has been a regular habit of the movie makers. It is good to serve the regional audience with the international standards but how ethical is it to take the credit of some others work. Who is to be blamed for this? The music directors, who actually lift the songs or the directors who approve those tunes in their movies.

Before the release of a new movie, the entire crew pleads the audience not to encourage piracy. But unfortunately, they themselves are acting pirates by lifting tunes. Piracy, no doubt should be strictly monitored, but then how about being stringent on the copy issue. The copyrights act commission should be more vigilant on this issue and make sure that the audience are getting what they are entitled to. They should make sure that there is a minimum of copying and if at all copied the original creator should duly get his credit. This move can encourage the new talent to come up with novel ideas as the people who depend on others for their growth would be stripped off their luxury.

Finally, if the piracy has to be stopped why shouldn't it start at the doorstep of the cinema rather than when it is out on the streets. Directors and Music directors should move in a way forward to meet the actual objective of making a movie i.e., unleashing the creativity. We, spectators, demand a movie or music which can showcase the talent and creativity not the copying ability

Don't post rude or nasty comments. Ethnic slurs, personal insults and abuses are rather uncool. Criticise, but know where to draw the line. No point putting in personal details or links, we won't publish them.
