GHMC: Danam cancels Delhi visit

Danam Nagendar submitted his resignation yesterday to PCC chief D Srinivas as he was totally upset about the allegations made on him by other Congress leaders regarding GHMC ticket allocation. Today he planned to visit Delhi and submit the details of his exercise regarding candidate selection.
But as AICC in-charge of Andhra Pradesh affairs Veerappa Moily was not present in Delhi, he cancelled his Delhi visit.
He faxed the details to Delhi and met PCC chief D Srinivas to discuss about the future course of action. According to the sources, Danam's resignation would not be accepted and he would continue as the Greater Hyderabad Congress President.
